ZENB Pasta Variety
Craving a salty and flavorful noodle meal? ZENB Spaghetti can cure it with a soy dipping sauce that is dripping in flavor, and it is a good source of fiber.
INGREDIENTS
- 8 ounces ZENB Yellow Pea Spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 sheet nori, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons black & white sesame seeds
- 1-1/2-inch knob ginger, peeled and minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Cook ZENB Pasta as directed on package. Rinse pasta under cold running water until chilled; drain well. Toss with sesame oil; divide between 4 individual serving bowls.
2.Meanwhile, combine broth, soy sauce and mirin in liquid measuring cup. Divide between 4 smaller individual dipping bowls. Serve with sesame seeds, nori, ginger and green onions.
Tasty Tips
This dish was inspired by traditional Japanese cold soba noodles. Substitute dashi for the vegetable broth in the dipping sauce for a boost of umami.
Chilling the ZENB Pasta under cold running water as directed in our recipes produces the best pasta texture in cold applications. This recipe is best served immediately, as opposed to preparing ahead to refrigerate overnight.
