ZENB Rotini Pasta
Sometimes, a simple buttered pasta with parmesan is exactly what we need. With the same delicious taste and texture as traditional pasta, ZENB Pasta is ideal for this simple preparation. High in fiber, protein, and iron, this gluten-free recipe is sure to be a kitchen staple.
- 1 box (12 ounces) ZENB Rotini Pasta made from 100% Yellow Peas, uncooked
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon each kosher salt & ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
Cook ZENB Pasta as directed on package. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta cooking water; drain. Return pasta to pot.2.
Add pasta water, butter, salt and pepper to pasta. Mix gently until well combined. Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
Substitute plant-based butter and vegan Parmesan for a vegan dish.
For a spicy kick, substitute crushed red pepper for the black pepper.
