ZENB Pasta Variety

Crisp, fresh broccoli and Italian sausage are whipped together with ZENB Pasta Agile for a skillet meal that is ready in under 30 minutes. It is also a good source of protein and fiber.


  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 12 ounces plant-based Italian sausage, removed from casing
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 12 ounces ZENB Pasta Agile, uncooked
  • 3 cups small broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 small lemon, cut into wedges



Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Cook sausage 4-5 minutes until browned, breaking up large pieces with wooden spoon. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.


Stir in broth and ZENB Pasta Agile. Top with broccoli; cover with lid. Cook 2 minutes or until pasta is tender. Remove pan from heat; stir gently until well mixed.


Sprinkle with cheese and chili flakes before serving with lemon wedges.

Tasty Tips

Plant-based sausage is usually sold in the meat department or frozen aisle of the grocery store.

Cut down on kitchen waste by using the broccoli stalk! Remove the outer skin with a vegetable peeler and cut the inner core into thin slices.

Substitute the same amount of bulk Italian sausage for the plant-based sausage.

Substitute Parmesan cheese for Vegan Parmesan cheese to make this meal completely vegan.
