Garlic-Sesame Gochujang Spaghetti

ZENB Spaghetti sets the stage for this sweet and spicy dish featuring gochujang sauce for a flavor explosion. It is also a good source of fiber and low in calories.
- 1 box (8 ounces) ZENB Spaghetti Pasta made from 100% Yellow Peas
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 cup shredded napa cabbage
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 tablespoon Korean gochujang sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
Cook ZENB Pasta as directed on package. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water; drain.2.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add cabbage, bell pepper, gochujang and garlic. Cook 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until crisp-tender. Add pasta and reserved pasta water. Cook 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is evenly coated.3.
Top with green onions and sesame oil before serving.
Gochujang is a sweet, savory, and spicy fermented pepper condiment used in Korean cooking. Gochujang makes a great base for stews, stir-frys and marinades. It is available online or in the Asian section of a well-stocked grocery store.
Sprinkle this dish with toasted sesame seeds for a crunchy garnish.
