ZENB Pasta Variety

ZENB Spaghetti sets the stage for this sweet and spicy dish featuring gochujang sauce for a flavor explosion. It is also a good source of fiber and low in calories.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 ounces ZENB Yellow Pea Spaghetti, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded napa cabbage
  • 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Korean gochujang sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

INSTRUCTIONS

1.

Cook ZENB Pasta as directed on package. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water; drain.

2.

Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add cabbage, bell pepper, gochujang and garlic. Cook 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until crisp-tender. Add pasta and reserved pasta water. Cook 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is evenly coated.

3.

Top with green onions and sesame oil before serving.

Tasty Tips

Gochujang is a sweet, savory, and spicy fermented pepper condiment used in Korean cooking. Gochujang makes a great base for stews, stir-frys and marinades. It is available online or in the Asian section of a well-stocked grocery store.

Sprinkle this dish with toasted sesame seeds for a crunchy garnish.
