ZENB Pasta Agile

This salty and spicy dish is paired with the light, sweet flavor of crab and delicious ZENB Pasta Agile for a truly unique infusion of flavor. The notes of orange are subtle but create the perfect bite! This dish is low in calories, a good source of protein, and a good source of fiber.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 medium shallot, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 1 box (12 ounces) ZENB Pasta Agile
  • 2 teaspoons capers, drained
  • 1 orange, finely zested
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 pound snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Italian parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add shallots; cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally until tender. Stir in broth, ZENB Pasta Agile, capers, 2 teaspoons zest, and red pepper flakes.

Top with crab and snow peas; cover with lid. Cook 2 minutes, or until pasta is tender. Remove pan from heat; sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.

Tasty Tips

Substitute medium raw peeled and deveined shrimp (41/50 count) for the crab meat.
