Create Your Own ZENB Gourmet Pasta Sauce Pack
This gluten-free Shakshuka recipes uses ZENB Sweet Carrot and Tomato Marinara Gourmet Pasta Sauce to help create a delicious dish to enjoy for breakfast or any time throughout the day. Combing harissa paste, feta cheese, and more will give you a well-balanced flavor profile.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon harissa paste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 carton (15.5 ounce) ZENB Sweet Carrot and Tomato Marinara Gourmet Pasta Sauce
- 5 ounces baby spinach
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onions and salt; cook 5-6 minutes until softened. Add harissa, garlic and cumin; cook stirring constantly, 1 minute or until fragrant. Stir in ZENB Sauce; bring mixture to a simmer. Add spinach; cook 2 minutes until wilted.
2.Remove skillet from heat. Make 6 small wells in sauce. Crack 1 egg into each well. Cover with lid. Cook 8-12 minutes on medium heat until whites are set and yolks are cooked to desired doneness.
3.Sprinkle with cilantro, feta, and avocado before serving.
