Re-Theme Linguine



These long ribbons of pasta are flattened on two sides and named after the shape they resemble, “little tongues.” The flat shape provides more surface area so it pairs nicely with pesto and other oil-based sauces, as well as fish sauces and stir-fry dishes.


Ingredients
Whole yellow peas (with skin).


Cooking Instructions

  1. Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil.
  2. Add a generous pinch of salt to the water which will enhance the flavor of the pasta.
  3. Carefully add pasta to water. Stir gently.
  4. Return to a boil.
  5. Taste your pasta while cooking to achieve your desired texture, For "al dente" pasta, boil yellow pea Linguine for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, rinse under water.
  7. Serve immediately.
